Hmm. Sad she had to fuck some idiot 1001 times! It still amazes me that girl's/women's virginity is such a prized possession (more so in some places that others), yet no one in society gives a shit about boy's virginity. Why??? Cos let's face it, virginity is shit. Get rid of it ASAP I say so you can start having the good sex!
Yeeeeppp. Whenever I listen about stories of old time, folklore and history alike, I'm always grateful that I'm born in the modern time. Though even now there are still a lot of hardships if we're born at some unfortunate places.
When she's telling the story, thankfully they didn't have any time to do anything else so ... at least only after he fell in love with her that they shared bed together. Actually even right now, I believe Hollywood only makes 10% of their movies with women as leading actors... we still have a long way to go to equality.
This is amazing art ... Love everything on her, and the story was familar to me, and I also compared it now to blogging. I hope I can write 1001 blogs, and entertain people with my blogs, but without the pressure Sherezade had ... she had to entertain for her life. And marrying after 1001 story's ... I don't think I ever would. I would walk away and leave him broken ...
I wish she would leave him too because he's not a good man unlike most men in other fairytales. Maybe if Disney ever make their own version, they would make it better, I hope so because I usually prefer their version than the original folklore ^^.

You have caught very well the look of women from the Middle East. And this look has no equal in the Western world. In the West, women are more likely to be able to seduce with their bodies. In the East, no. When only the gaze is allowed, it hides 1001 nuances. Once, years ago, I was in Casablanca and had a coffee with a lovely young woman, Imane. His eyes had a hypnotizing effect. All his femininity and charm was concentrated in his eyes, leaving the rest of his body immobile. I felt like David Beckham, before marrying Victoria. However, in the West, if you hold your gaze for more than 10 seconds to a woman, you can end up in the police station :)
