So much colors from you! YAY! Very well done scrawls. I also find that there is something special about such a lonely house at the beach. I can imagine spending there some time. I prefer to live close to the mountains but a few months each year I could easily spend at the sea, lol.

It's a romantic thought, isn't it? I've seen many advertised cottage looking so inviting against the blue sea. If only staying there is not prohibitively expensive, I would have splurged on hahaha.

Right now I'm mostly practicing on how to paint skin in watercolours, that's why I put a lot of women lately. But you're right, I shouldn't neglect other things too so my blog can look more exciting.

As someone who does live on the sea, I can say it is often magical. Some mornings, it feels like you are alone in the world with just the waves, the gulls and the vast skyline.
Wow, that sounds like really nice and magical moments. I can't really imagine how it would feel, must be close to blissfulness.

I really like how you transition the far away sea into the nearer beach with the variation of the blues, @scrawly <3 And the greens are very nicely done also, seems very lush and a little untended but natural and beautiful <3
I like the house also, it's nicely and delicately lined, but it seems to sink towards the back and I can only imagine the people inside of it would have a slanting life... XD but maybe it is abandoned?
Anyway I make slanting structures all the time and I usually just say things function on C'thulhic logic in this universe \o/

Hehehe I like the sea and the sky is alright in this one. The house that is sinking... that makes me laugh lol. You make a nice story to come up with how the house is in that condition, I think it's great that way and I'll toy with the ideas whether it's abandoned, Cthulhu worshipers' house, or a house in great disrepair.

Great work.. If you sort of crop some of the image off to the far right it looks even awesome rrrr... Just some of the house. You can definitely get the feel for the grass.. soft and wispy blowing in the breeze. Cool clouds! I like clouds as much as trees. I can appreciate a good impression of a cloud. This is a good impression of clouds. :-D
Ohhh! Thank you for the cropping suggestion, it's true that this image could be enhanced with a better composition. I will take more consideration about cropping next time, I think some people have the photographer's eyes about this kind of thing, while I'm the kind of people that takes bad composition photos most of the times. I should try to level up in my photography skill, I think that would help my art a lot.

Don't pay any mind to me.. I am always cropping things in my mind. Just a suggestion if you decide to frame it. Look at my stuff.. I hardly ever crop it for on here. maybe I should start doing it more too for like the final picture. hmmmm..

You don't know how to swim? :O
Then it would be scary to live so close to the sea. Even for me, swimming in the sea is quite scary because in Australia, sometimes there are news about shark incident. It doesn't happen very often, but I think about it ^^;.

Yes, a house on the beach... they said with climate change, in 50 years or so the beach line is going to get deeper to the land. So who knows, maybe our current location will be beach property in the future. Not that I'm happy about it, but we always have to look for the silver lining XD.

Hmm I'm not sure of the daily rate. Spider said it might be a sinking house or a Cthulhu worshiper place, in both cases, I think the rate would be quite cheap, free even if you are willing to worship the tentacled one.
I really like this house by the sea. I think that it lived for several generations, which looked from its windows to the sea)
I look at your watercolor and really want to see the lessons of Shibasaki too.
Hmm, that is such a romantic notion, a house that has been lived in by generations of the same family. It must hold so many memories, and also it's pretty rare because most houses I've been whether they're old or new, the people keep changing.
The lesson that I was following was to draw basic shapes of leaves and grasses. Here is the link to the post if you want to follow it :D.
