androgynous people are confronting because they don't conform to either gender, but I think you captured the idea perfectly here, since angels are a little androgynous themselves <3

The pose is also very nice! It makes me think he is sitting atop of one of those huge factory kiln towers that were in production in the 70s or sommit, but now defunct, a relic of a time past by, just like his own life.... he is watching over the present on top of a building that belongs in the past.
