Hi,😄

I hope everyone is doing great! Today I would like to share my first entry to a drawing contest Learn to Draw with Friends by @tonyr.

Every week I choose a theme and three images, one for beginners, one for intermediate and one for advanced. All you have to do is choose the image that you feel best suits your current skill level and have a go at drawing it.

This week's theme is 'Back to the 80's'

I picked Papa Smurf for beginner.

Here's what I used:

• 4H pencil
• Eraser
• Red colored pencil
• Blue colored pencil
• Black colored pencil
• Sharpener

Let's Start

Step 1: First, I gathered all my materials.

Step 2: I sketched his head and his face using H4 pencil.

Step 3: I then continue to sketch his hat with a curve shape.

Step 4: I sketched his body and his left leg with large shoe.

Step 5: Then I sketched his other leg and shoe.

Step 6: I sketched the left arm and hand.

Step 7: I sketched the other hand.

Step 8: I cleaned up my drawing using eraser.

Step 9: Then I outlined my drawing with a black colored pencil.

Coloring

Step 10: Using red colored pencil, I started colored the hat.

Step 11: Then his face, body, arms and hands with blue colored pencil.

Step 12: Lastly his legs and shoes with red colored pencils.

Tadaaa!!! My Papa Smurf is done 😄
