This is a very beautiful story and your description of how you feel when you say something mean to someone just because you are stressed out is pretty accurate. I know that feeling, I guess everyone does to a certain point.
I love how warm and lively your characters feel in comparison to the cold and the snow. It is a nice contrast you may have not chosen on purpose but either way I love it! :)
