Yes, Jehovah (God of the Bible) wants mankind to return to a state of perfection like we were in the Garden of Eden. Armageddon his a very selective war that will destroy those who appose his Governmental arrangement that he has established in Heaven (non earthly government leaders). I agree, wicked are only destroyed as a last resort. What each of us need to do is study what the requirements are to be a citizen of this Heavenly Government and receive the benefits of being citizens of it.
