• Deterioration of morality and spiritual culture

I'm going with this one because it can feed into at least two of the other choices available (turmoil and crime), and actually may have a lot to do with the remaining two, depending on actual circumstances.

I think if we cared for each other more and the circumstances in which we live, and less about ourselves and our own situations, we'd have a lot less of these things.

Hopefully, those of us who are aware of the situation and can see the effect it's having on the rest of the culture can find the way to turn hearts without turning people off. That tends to be what happens more, and I think it helps to contribute to the problem. Some people will never believe they're responsible or should hold themselves accountable, but others might.

I guess we fight for what we think it right and hope we're able to right the ship, or else keep doing it until there's nothing left to save.
