There was a time when I used to self-vote every post, then a time when I didn't. Right now, I'm back to not self-voting. Instead, I've been participating in vote exchanges like @steem-bounty vote club services. It's a workaround to self-voting because every vote I give to other members gets an upvote with equal value. I like this better because you get to spread the votes to others. Plus, there are those rare times when you discover interesting accounts.
