Where I live we get crawly bugs in the house occasionally. The smart ones go under shelves to get away from the animals.
Its always fun watching them check out the bugs. They make silly faces smelling them and sometimes grab onto their nose. The cats dont like that, they rather do the biting.
In this case I think it got away.

Sure is, i like petting them when they see birds through the window. The cats make this funny chirping sound.
I know right? As soon as they see bird! I dunno if they try to imitate it, or it is cattish for I saw a birdie :)

Yeah, my dog shoes little interest in the occasional bug that crosses his path inside. He’ll chase bumblebees or butterflies outside if they get too close. And, birds – he really goes after the birds. Fortunately, he hasn’t caught one yet. The bunnies are pretty good at escaping him, though they have had some very close calls. But, there’s this cat… it prowls the top of my fence, between my and the neighbor’s yards, tormenting our little dog and the neighbor’s two dogs.
