Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. Red is a very emotionally intense color. It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure.
Red is therefore powerful. It is the colour of strength and power.
To paint the town red
to enjoy yourself by going to places such as bars and clubs.
I know you think this is what I mean with sreemit. No, I have seen plenty of red in steemit lately. There are red numbers besides the reputation. I do not know what it means though.

The Downvote is red too. I think it shows some danger. On roads it is hard to overtake a red car. It shows danger. Is it so with downvote?
