Trump's hard-hitting attitude towards immigration has raised the unrest once again in the convoy of Central American entrepreneurs on the US-Mexico border.
American President Donald Trump, who is heading for mid-term elections, has once again expressed his radical stand on immigration. Trump announced that he wants to order that non-American citizens or illegal immigrants eliminate the statutory rights of US-born children's citizenship.
Before the elections, the President's comment came on 'Xios on HBO'. Trump believes that focusing on immigration will give renewed energy to supporters and Republican members will be able to maintain their control over the parliament. Trump's hard-hitting attitude towards immigration has raised the unrest once again in the convoy of Central American entrepreneurs on the US-Mexico border.
The American president said that he is sending additional troops. He said that he would make a temporary city for the aspiring people. The issue of abolishing 'Bachelor Citizenship Based on Birth' (Barthrite Citizenship) can be challenged in the court. It may question the President's unilateral capacity to change the amendment of the constitution.
The 14th Amendment to the American Constitution guarantees the rights of American-born citizens to American-born children. When asked about the legality of such an executive order, Trump said, "They are saying that I can do it, by just one executive order."
In an excerpt on the exchequer interview on Tuesday, he said, "We are the only country in the world where a person comes, produces children and the child becomes essentially a citizen of America."
The President said that White House lawyers are reviewing this proposal. It is not clear now how fast he will act on the executive order. The White House did not respond immediately to the request for additional comment.
