Nope. Getting ranked as a .in website in the US would be very hard because you can bet your sweet pie that domain extensions (ccTLDs, especially) have a role to play in your SEO.
According to many tests, the definitive conclusion is that using a ccTLD does affect your SEO in a way that makes it target users from specified countries.
The most common use case for ccTLDs is to "internationalize" website content, and using a ccTLD is the strongest signal you can send a search engine that your content focuses on a specific country.
