Why using .IN (India) isn’t an effective strategy to target US visitors to your website

To explain it simply, the main reason why people use ccTLDs is usually to target users from that same country, such as Indian users with a .IN domain and USA users with the .US domain extension.

There’s also the matter that after a lot of research and tests, it has been proven that what ccTLD you use has an effect on your SEO.

So, if you want to get a US audience, you can use a .US domain. If you want to have more users from India, then use the .IN domain.
