It happened about two years ago...I had just returned from dropping my eldest son off at school only to find this four legged friend waiting in the driveway. He stayed with us for three weeks before we were able to locate the owner. In this time our German Shepard had forged a strong bond with Husky (as we named him).
We reluctantly released him to his owner who actually stayed one road away and were feeling pretty sad to see him go. The following night at around 12:30am I heard howling at our gate...guess who was sitting there. Rocky the German Shepard was going bananas at the back. I let him in and returned him to his owner the following day. The next night the same thing happened. It would seem Husky Boy had made his mind up.
I contacted his owner again and he graciously agreed to let me buy him for a reasonable price. Husky has been with us ever since and has been such a blessing, he has the most wonderful nature keeping Rocky Young as they play wrestle at about 4:pm ever afternoon.
God sent Husky to us that day and he is a joy to have in our family.
and what a beautiful blessing he is! - and so is Rocky for that matter :)
I love huskies. They are cute but they have their own head.
