Having two daughters you do worry about them going out but not so much when the dog goes too.
German Shepherds make great family pets and the girls are always playing and cuddling him and he is the biggest softy with them. he also follows them around when we are out walking him so they are safe to go off exploring.
Every kid needs a guard dog ... mine has protected my son from many things . I Watched a hawk die that thought he was gonna dive bomb my baby ... same dog let a red tail hawk live ... was proud of my dog for not killing the redtail it was not a threat ... but still not sure why 3 huge dogs didnt kill it for sport ... musta been a messenger w an unseen guardian ...

I have always had dogs to protect my children. They provide protection, are companions and are valued family members. I can't count the number of times the dogs have saved the boys from grievous harm. Nice photos of the girls and their dog. Have you trained the dog to protect against future boyfriends?
The dog isn't too keen on men so it won't be hard to get him to growl at any boyfriends.
