I use doge to move money from exchange to exchange. The fee is usually 2 doge, which is about 40 satoshis. Can't get cheaper than that!
When the doge tipbot was on reddit, it used to be the preferred coin for tipping because no-one minded giving people 10 doge here and there just to say, great post.
I just wish more payment processors would enable it (like bitpay) - I don't understand why they are sticking with bitcoin only when it is clearly an asset like gold not cash like doge.
Exactly, Doge is far more suited for tips and payments than Bitcoin. And maybe at some point Doge will be used like Bitpay now uses Bitcoin.
Even converting it first to BTC is a waste. Bitcoin is indeed a high value holding asset, unsuited for things where Doge fits the bill perfectly.
