A wheater phenomenon that we can rarely experience just happened in the Bukk mountains, which is not far away from where I live.
At both sides of the mountain only 2 cm snow fell, while in the central area of the mountain there was a 40 cm snowfall.
The reason was that a cold eastern air current hit the mountain.
While a few km's away hardly any snow fell.
Me, Charlie the Golden, was in the between the two, checking on squirrels. :-)
