Labs are great dogs and are a lot of fun. Some friends of ours have 2 and they escaped their enclosure. Our friends got a phone call from the local grocery store saying that the dogs went into the store and were captured on the dog food aisle gorging themselves on open bags of feed. The store is about 3 miles from their home. The dogs had tags with the phone numbers and they are good natured animals. The store was really good about the whole incident.
