Well, the answer might not satisfy you.
You can only treat effects.
Causes can only be prevented.
Is it a semantics game?
It could look like that.
What I'm trying to say, ultimately boils down to this.
Health is a complex issue, and there are no silver bullets to solve problems.
Vaccines, atleast the ones I would recommand, are a preventive measure.
Antibiotics, used in moderation, are the treatment.
But there will always new people who become sick.
No matter what we do.
So we need to look for new and better ways to tackle both, prevention and treatment.
That's what I think.
