Yesh, he is Ug'ugu! I got the idea from his massive mouth with those teeth, I think he will be making uGGgg-uGGgg sound as he moves / chews from all that gnashing of teeth, so then he was called UGUGU

LoL. Imagine a group of them in a swamp with only that top eye peeping above the water. They could lure people into the water with their Psionic Charm ability and then wrestle them under the murk. Kind of a fun monster. They look like three-eyed, chubby, gentle, frog guys with big scary teeth. But if they're hungry... look out. LoL. :^)
