Surviving this side of The Breach has become a struggle. The spring air that met us when we first crossed, though welcoming, signaled that foraging would be sparce. Luckily a few islands had wild boars and fowl to stock our meat stores.

Many of the men look hopeful now that we have sailed calm waters the past few days. But though we have sailed quite aways from The Breach, it sticks to us like a barnacle. Always just on the other side of the horizon. Black clouds stretching towards us like tentacles reaching to drag us back.

I'm anxious to see a mainland come into view, for though my heart belongs to Thuune and the ocean, it cannot bare the evilness that seemed to be The Breach. I thought these words would never leave my lips but, these legs can't stop shaking on this boat.
