You calling me old, now?! My first computer didn't have a hard ddrive, just two 5-1/2" floppy drives. Is that a 512k? They made some 640k's toward the end of the run. They made some interesting noises when they read and wrote, and were also very prone to corruption. Don't get that close to a magnet, or it'll be toast!

Don't forget to put a little piece of tape over that notch, so it's write protected!

LOL - my first computer didn't even have a floppy drive . . . it used a cassette tape as the hard drive.

That said, I'm really only three years old. ;-)

In the 80's, I had some school books that came with the big old floppy diskettes. I remember playing King's Quest on them, too. It was so annoying when you moved to a new area and got, "insert disk 3."
