The picture above is the data storage media of the old days around the 80's. The brand is 3M which at that time has a decent quality. If you ever wear it, of course you are now old. 😆 😆 😆.

This is my own photo by @askari.

You calling me old, now?! My first computer didn't have a hard ddrive, just two 5-1/2" floppy drives. Is that a 512k? They made some 640k's toward the end of the run. They made some interesting noises when they read and wrote, and were also very prone to corruption. Don't get that close to a magnet, or it'll be toast!

Don't forget to put a little piece of tape over that notch, so it's write protected!

LOL - my first computer didn't even have a floppy drive . . . it used a cassette tape as the hard drive.

That said, I'm really only three years old. ;-)

So you include those who have used it... :) 😆😆😆

In the 80's, I had some school books that came with the big old floppy diskettes. I remember playing King's Quest on them, too. It was so annoying when you moved to a new area and got, "insert disk 3."

Cheeky Monkey - It's a floppy disk used to save data from 1980's computers, I used one waaay back then and I do not feel old now - time to protect that floppy with some tape to stop it being overwritten by mistake - if you still have one of those "old" fangled computer type thingies left gathering dust up in the attic that is.........note to self - I am not old!!

😆,very true, thanks for your comments
