RE: Streamblog #4 // TIPS // Interacting with viewers!

in #dlive7 years ago

Great tips! I have seen you apply these like a pro in your dlive. You're a natural! I don't understand the game (and most video games) but because you were showing us your reactions and telling us what you do, it became interesting for me. And I got an idea what the game was about :)

I would apply them if I ever stream my travels or singing hahaha but I see these tips are perfect for gamers. It would be difficult outdoors I guess, with no second monitor to check the chats (or hold 2 phones). I like the live interaction part so hope someday it will be easy for travel streamers too. And as you advised before, an offline video is better for travels where internet might be unreliable.

Just a trivia, there's a recent study that the new generation of leaders are introverts. I just got that from a seminar at work so I can't cite the source.

I guess they mostly apply to gamers, but then again it's an important aspect for every streamer. Gamers just tend to focus more on the game and think that no interaction is needed. IRL / music / etc streamers communicate with the viewers any way. I mean you yourself talked a lot in your stream. You can't really pull off an IRL stream without any talking so those kinds of streamers anyway follow those tips. :D

Streaming only from mobile makes things a bit harder, yeah since it is a lot harder to follow the chat. Hope fully we are able to make this a bit easier in the future too. : )

I've also heard that a lot of people nowadays are introverts. This might be actually caused by the popularity of computers. We type a lot, but we forget how to speak with voice or eventually are afraid to speak out loud. But if you have motivation this is trainable, as I said in the post. You just have to start and it will get better every day. : )

Dlive has grown sooo fast so I'm sure that there will be more improvements soon and this may be possible for mobile too(hoping for it!).

I'm glad to have interacted again with you in your blog. Miss the early days, was just a few months ago but it felt like a lot has already happened in Steemit! :)

Yeah I just recently thought about making some blog posts again so I'll still try to maintain both of my professions here on steemit! :D
