I won’t be participating in the contest cause I’m not exactly really a small fry any longer myself and someone could use it more but I really am glad to see you doing more videos and being active and especially on steemit; helping grow this place.
There is an expression used in science classes when teaching about evolution. When your environment changes, you have to get MAD, move, adapt or die. Steemians are making these choices daily. Some take their coins and move to another crypto token, some find a way to adapt by changing their niche, and others just give up and die. They become inactive.
You are a leader in the crypto community because you are always looking for ways to reach back and pull up. I applaud your efforts and your creative ideas. The good news is that you have enough Steem to finance your ideas. This latest idea may be another pivotal moment in an alternate reality. 😉
I read the same post. It is hilarious that anyones perspective can totally blind you from what is going on. That guy who "called out" that posts rewards got the biggest upvote to 'show off his stupidity' (or whatever it was) and will likely be his biggest upvote he ever received for a comment. Free money is popular and it is a good way to 'incentivize' community engagement. Kind of a srtange concept though.

We all got attracted to STEEM because of the potential of making money from "nothing" (blogging), but, as you said, after we realise what this platform is about, we really need to make connections and most importantly get to know each other.
I used your tag some months ago, but then you were inactive for a while so I stoped using it, what better way to get back to good old habits and see if my content is worthy of your upvotes and even winning the contest.
Yea I see a lot of people going thru the motions when posting and writing comments and some of us need to be better examples and be more genuine. Just like if we were on Facebook or if we weren’t getting paid to write and create.
Usually people post contest hear for their own benefits like they can get more audience and followers and in return they will give few sbd. But this one is not like that and looks interesting. I like because of its uniqueness. Nice creativity. I am in. Thank you. @trevonjb

Loved what you said about building relationships with all the people that comment. I mean, I get a few comments here and there, but my vote isn't all that strong so hard to vote on everyone, but I at least try to have a conversation with them.
I've been off Steem for awhile, but getting back onto it now - and I can't lie, getting a delegation to jump-start me back up again would be pretty awesome to start making an impact on here. I tried to spread as much positivism and nice comments to all those deserving on here and really put in the "work". Ready to do so again.
I also think all the BS that happened a few months ago with people framing you and all that was such BS so wouldn't mind using the hashtag in the posts with the delegation.

Just catching up. I try to watch your videos daily, but with my work and kids many days it is all I can do to make time for posting. That's what catch up days are for, I guess.
Anyway, thank you for the contest. I will use your tag on some of my posts. I usually do some kind of Japan photography, haiku posts, or some random Japan info. Not sure if any of these are of interest to you, but... I'll cross my fingers 🤞
I totally agree about interacting with people. I try to respond to all comments I get, and I really wish I could upvote them all. One reason I do want more SP is so I can afford to upvote everyone without killing my voting power. Funny story, when I first started on Steemit, I did upvote all comments at 100%. I didn't understand voting power at the time. I ended up having 0% voting power for a few months. haha. Anyway, making connections is great. Much of my (very limited) success at Steemit so far has been from making connections with people.
Bitcoin will hit 4k. Hope community stand their ground.
