only difference is that dlive has live streaming capability too. they both use ipfs for decentralized storage, which is awesome. weird you are having trouble with encoding. both work flawlessly for me, some people are getting votes for contests and 'requests' from the help centre they are building out yes. not sure if they have a traffic problem, just more of a scaling problem, you need the problem to be able to fix it. so it's all good for beta testing.

I’m going a bit crazy with dtube today, can’t even imagine trying out dlive.
Why can everyone else upload to dtube and I can’t?? 😳😳
well in the times that i've had a problem with @dtube it's been a dropping connection problem, so i use a vpn for a solid connection, any drop or latency can totally mess up the upload process, if it's getting super busy from overload then it's gonna be problematic, maybe @steevc is right, maybe it's just super busy with it getting so popular -- i'm using dlive at the moment, i find @dlive uploads are working out for me, but i'm doing them there because they had a #help-centre requirement for tutorial videos which was right up my street. how's thailand? keeping well?
I feel like it’s worth mentioning that (to the best of my knowledge) there is no beneficiary split with dlive.
