RE: Streamblog #4 // TIPS // Interacting with viewers!

in #dlive7 years ago

After reading this, i am thinking to myself "i should get a mic for my art streams".. I was thinking the same way, what should i say while drawing? is my talking to the mic will be more interesting what i am drawing on the paper? i always though this way. its better to put music on for viewers and let them enjoy the show. no? well, if verbal communication with viewers are that important i'll definitely give it a try on my next stream. Thank you for the tips. ^^

Drawing is somewhat understandable if some artists want to focus and do this in silence. As I wrote, it is always good to watch drawing streams, because their vibe is different, but then again if you feel comfortable talking it could definitely add more value to it or make it even more interesting to watch. People could interact with the artist more freely and you could feel a lot better as well just talking and drawing at the same time. It is just a way to interact with your viewers faster and connect better, but if you feel really uncomfortable doing that or want to focus on drawing, this is okay as well since every artist is different. Some just want to draw silently and this is okay. : )

You can check @anneadam past broadcasts for example. She draws too, plays music, bust just sometimes uses the microphone when a user joins the chat for example. You can see yourself how you feel about that. Is this making you want to watch the stream more, or not.

Anyways don't sweat too much on it. These are just suggestions to improve the stream and yours is good as it is now. But there are always ways to make it better, right? : )
