A Great Adventure on the Island of Mljet - Pomena II / 姆列特岛探险之Pomena (二）

Another day on Mljet island and the adventuring just doesn’t stop! Grabbing our backpack late morning, we set off, making our way towards Pomena harbour.

Mljet is primarily an island with the untouched beautiful nature all around. You can literary make your way through any of the walking trails, which includes dense woodland and forests. There are guaranteed to be new discoveries every day. It’s just so full of wonderful surprises! An absolutely treat for the body and soul, lol!

After a couple of hours hiking up some steep paths, we ended up in Pomena, which is a small harbour village we had visited a couple of days ago. It was a typical sunny day and I was even more speechless at those stunning views this time round. What the difference comparing to the last time I was here!

The harbour was chock full of big ships lined next to each other and many tourists were seen stopping over to admire the beautiful scenery and all that this lovely village has to offer.

We found a great little restaurant called “Konoba Herc”, tucked away from the boats and busier sections of the street. In fact, the restaurant is situated right at the end of the Promenade walk. It has the most fantastic view there. On a long hot summer day, it was really nice watching the yachts sail in and moor up. We sat at a particular table with the charming view soaking in the relaxing atmosphere!
The restaurant is actually owned by a local family and the service is exceptional. You can even watch the chef cooking the food upon a wood fire, barbecue style hearth with attached oven. The grilled calamari was extremely fresh, beautifully prepared and irresistibly tasty! If you are looking to sample a truly unique seafood experience, make sure not to miss this delightful venue!

我们开始了姆列特岛上另一天的探险，呵呵！一大早我和@ezzy带上背包出发前往Pomena 小镇。

岛上四周都是美丽的原始大自然风景，即使去同一个地方，你都可以通过茂密的林地和森林走不同的路线，并且每天都会有新发现，旅途中充满了各种的惊喜，太棒了，哈哈！

经过两个多个小时徒步行，我们来到了Pomena 小镇。这是一个我们几天前来访过的海港渔村。不过这天天气特别明媚，与我们上次来下毛毛细雨相比，风景更是迷人！

海港虽小却挤满了彼此相邻的大船，许多游客们都下船欣赏这里美丽的风景和小村庄所提供的超市和餐馆等各种设施。

在离繁忙的船只和街道稍远一点儿的地方，我们找到了一家名为“Konoba Herc”的餐馆。它其实位于港湾走道的尽头，拥有着独一无二的海港美景！炎热漫长的夏天里，在这里静坐闲看游艇来来往往，真享受！我们挑了一个靠海边的位置坐下用餐。

这家店是家庭式经营的，服务态度非常好。我们甚至可以看到厨师在烧烤炉上用柴火烹饪食物。我点的烤鱿鱼十分新鲜，刚刚烤出来香气逼人，肉嫩并且柔韧鲜美，口感十足！如果你想在姆列特岛上体验真正的海鲜大餐，不要错过这家非常不错的餐厅哦，呵呵！
