For some reason, Long Island NY has a plethora of old castles and mansions.
I shot part of the video for Kamera on the North Shore at the Guggenheim Estate which was originally the Gould Estate.
There are four mansions on the property....because apparently, one mansion was not enough.

This picture here actually shows the smaller mansion which was built because Gould was not pleased with the construction of the main castle.

Most of the footage I used includes the wooded property surrounding the castles.
I love the woods more than I like buildings and the property has some nice paths with beautiful looming trees.
It's amazing how the North and South Shores of Long Island differ.
The South Shore of Long Island has the large beaches while the North Shore consists of densely wooded areas.
Two entirely different landscapes all on one tiny island.
I always preferred the beauty of the North Shore.

It wasn't my intention to shoot in the snow, but mother nature had other plans bringing a lovely snowstorm the day before we planned to shoot.

If you ever decide to shoot a video in freezing temperatures after a large snow storm, don't wear the boots I was wearing.
Here I am laughing at myself after the 26th time of almost slipping and falling.

The entrance of the Estate had these elaborate wrought-iron gates.
One section was closed off and it reminded me of a jail cell which worked well with the emotional imprisonment theme of the song.

This was the path behind the main castle.
I was cold and wanted to go home to cuddle with a cat and a warm snuggly blanket.

What I learned from this experience is that snow is beautiful but uncomfortable.
I much prefer the blazing heat of Texas.
