How to create Text Animation in After Effects

1. As always, create a new composition by selecting the menu bar Composition > > New Composition ... (Ctrl + N)

If you're still unfamiliar with composition, please read the article introduction to Adobe After Effects-create a text Layer and the Composition first.

1. Then the Composition Settings window will appear. Give the name and set the presets as you wish. If it is, press OK or press Enter. For the recommendation, adjust the settings with the image that I have provided below.

2. Create a new layer of text. On the menu bar select Layer > > New > > Text (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + T)--other than on the menu bar, then we can create a new text layer by holding down the right mouse button on a column of the timeline (composition).

3. Name the layer with the text, start type the text as you wish by using the Horizontal Text Tool (Ctrl + T). Setting text in After Effects already proved to be more complete than other similar software, we can easily find what's needed to embellish the text that we use. Note also the font used, because it can determine the end result of this process.

Try to determine which fonts have criteria like this:

• Modern
• Light
• and not too hard to read.

1. After that, look at the Effects panel & Presets list (usually located to the left of the middle on the default workspace). Select Animation Presets list * > > Text, and then select one of the preset animation that has been available in the panel. We can open the presets in a folder that is already provided by tapping the icon collapse or mark the arrows beside the folder.

2. Example: you guys want to use presets Animate In (animation entry/initial) > > Decoder Fade In. press or select Decoder Fade In and slide toward layers of text or text that is in the composition. See the result by pressing the space bar on the keyboard.

3. add more presets to Animate Out (exit/end animation) > > Raining Characters Out. As step 6, press and select the Raining Characters Out and insert it into the layer in the timeline to activate the effect. Adjust the effects applied to the layer with enable panel Effects Control.
