I'm also a fan of those landscapes where the clouds meet the top of the mountains. Especially if you are on the mountains being surrounded by the clouds, it's breathtaking!! ❤️
Oh and even if there is no longer a lake, I do fall in love with the fresh views you have once you get there. I can literally feel my batteries getting recharged only by seeing the pictures. And of course the best way to finish a day like that is spending time in the city eating some sweets and awesome food! Yummy 😊

gabrielatravels, thank you! Taiwan is a little island, but it seems full of vast ranges of mountains, the locals are very lucky to have preserved so much nature and wildlife. Sure enough, I saw some of those clouds near the mountain tops as I hiked towards the Zhizihu, you are right, simply breathtaking.
Food is like the reward at the end of the long walks in Yangmingshan, and actually it involves more walking but well worth it!
I'm sure it's like a reward 😊 oh and yeah, I know how you feel about Taiwan because I feel the same, I'm kind of jelly for the people who live there in the heart of the wildlife haha 💚
