Hi, I think you already know how steem's payout rewards are allocated. Which is 80 to author 20 to curators.. When using Dtube platform, they take 25% so you end up with 55%. I think if you want to keep your vid for a certain amount of time you have to pay a fee. All outlined in their FAQ i'm sure, last time I checked a few months ago anyways. I'm sure it's going towards the betterment of the platform as it does looks the goods.
