The media was intended to be a watch Dog; NOT a lap dog! They were to attack that which was done wrong, relentlessly, which is why they were protected so well.

Our Founding Fathers expected bad press to result in crippling lawsuits to correct their errors.

This sold out function was not anticipated as they assumed the Media would be all Honest, Christian Men! NOT the bilge we have right now!
