Akan tetapi, baginya mengalahnya Marc Marquez tidak semanis mengalahkan pembalap terkenal, Valentino Roosi, pada ajang MotoGP 2019 Inggris, Rins berhasil meninggalkan asap motornya untuk Marquez.
