Ferrari tidak cuma mempunyai Sebastial Vettel yang menguasai balapan tercepat pada sesi latihan tersebut, tapi mereka juga menjadi nomor dua tercepat via Charles Leclerc, sedangkan Max Verstappen dari Red Bull Racing menguasai posisi ketiga.
