DIY Greeting Card Making Contest

Good evening my fellow steemians, this is my entry for the DIY greeting card contest authored by @mermaidvampire. This challenge is so timely because my husband's birthday is on March 26, 2018. I will hand it to him personally when he comes home from Manila.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
construction paper
Glue
Yarn
Folder
Double sided tape
Pencil
Ruler
Scissors

Steps:

1 Gather all the materials. Grab your construction paper, fold it in half and cut it.

2 Open your folder and cut it with the measurement of 10x12 and paste one of the construction paper you have cut earlier on one side of the folder

3 Paste the second construction Paper on the opposite side of the folder

4 Choose a new construction paper. Open your folder and paste the chosen paper there.

5 Go back to the front part of your folder and cut out 5 balloons using your scissors and construction paper. Once done, cut different sizes of yarns and attach it to each balloon using double sided tape. Place them on the front page, arrange them a little and then only glue the balloons not the strings.

6 Gather the strings and arrange them to the center. Then use the double sided tape to keep then all together and make a little ribbon out of the construction paper and paste it on the center of the strings.

7 Cut out the letters of "HAPPY" and Paste it on the balloons.

8 Cut out and paste the letters "BIRTHDAY" and also cut out a drawing of a cake. Paste them inside of the folder.

9 Add more designs to make it prettier and unique.

10 Write your personal letter inside.
