I’m 21 and single, and this post really hits home for me and young adults in my generation as well. The amount of hidden and obvious sexual references in adds, tv shows, and other media is absolutely astounding. It’s sad to me to think that sex has been turned into what seems like a game to most people my age these days instead of an ultimate and intimate form of connection in a relationship. I have personally whitnessed dozens of my friends from middle and high school who were introduced and became addicted to porn before the age of 15 now trying to create “healthy” relationships with women whom they really just see as sex objects because that’s all they have known when it comes to relationships; it’s hard wired in their minds because they’ve seen thousands of naked women besides the one their dating. Super sad.
