I suspect that Elon Musk would be willing to supply the transportation for intercept if he were offered sufficient money.

I want this one.

It's far enough away to be out of the reach of taxes..but close enough to pick up the internet and stay up to date with Steemit and Crypto.

I wonder how small a 'remodeling" package could be designed?

Sort:

depends on the engineer's dilemma

  • quality
  • time
  • money

give 3D printing a few more years and I suspect that the entire package could be fitted into a shipping container.

  1. Launch..intercept..deploy.
  2. Let them leetle robots work..for an orbit or two (or several)
  3. When completed...launch again..with people this time.
  4. Bye bye earth and all the silly rules...

Used to be we could vote with our feet. The 100 mile 'rights free zone' around the US border now precludes that, and despite - perhaps because of - the immigration mania in the EU, similar things will be done there.

I shall hope our posterity can vote with their jets, instead.

Some of us, though neither cowards, nor weak, are too long in the tooth to pioneer such endeavors today.
