I post everyday on steemit and I have one of the biggest groups in facebook. I've noticed that a lot of people here on steemit, especially newbies, are spamming on steemit like hell ! They also like to spam in facebook groups without reading the rules of the group. I deal with that kind of people everyday and it's so hard to explain them that spamming will not help them grow. Recently I compared them to zombies, they are attacking bloggers without thinking and eating our minds. When you tell them not to do that, they can bite you with bad words.
The above picture shows the bad effect that spammers can make. It's really evil. Those spammers can even convert a normal guy into their army. They really give a bad example to others who begin to think that doing such things is normal.
I consider even asking for upvote or resteem or comment as a spam. Some of them even take any article from the internet and just copy-paste it, or just copy-paste a part of it and share this in steemit thinking that it will help them somehow. Some of them are even worse, they come to your blog, resteem and upvote, and then they tell you that you have to do the same for them ! Is that ok ? No freedom, it's a big violation of rights, I think.
Message to spammers :
Please guys, if you want to spam, go to another social network, but not steemit ! Stop spamming and learn how to interact with people ! You are not a robot ! Read more to know more and then share your ideas ! Learn something new to teach it to people ! Spread news with your own words ! Stop spamming, you are wasting time and energy for nothing !
I really hope that this post will make a change. We need more people to write what they feel about this topic ! If you don't want to resteem this, at least write a post about this topic and I will upvote it, just let me know in the comments. Please, we have to do something about this, without supporting each other we can't get rid of spammers !

I give them a warning.. usually filled with sarcasm.. if they don't get it after that their loss... I upvote comments on my posts.. the value is determined by the quality and relevance of their comment... spammers get nothing... habitual spammers get flags instead of upvotes... although I hate flagging people..
My thought is that when they notice their comment was .01 but I upvoted someone else to .22 that'll get the point.. pity da foo if I have to point it out to them..
I am doing that as well, usually even if I don't like the comment I upvote all other comments but not that one, that way all the comments go up and the spammers comment will be in the bottom. ☺

The rate at which some steemians especially newbies engage in spamming is becoming alarming. In the past 3 days, I have received over 8 unsolicited private chats on my personal phone line from steemians begging for upvote and follow. some even sent me their post links directly to me for upvote.
Not only is this action unprofessional and unethical, it is also a violation of privacy. I want to appeal to those engaging in spamming to STOP now because it will do them no good rather it can damage their reputation.

Yeah you are right, I am doing everything I can to explain them that the things that they are doing is not correct, and they have to change their way of posting and commenting, but they really don't understand, imagine that I block people almost everyday in my group because they don't follow the rules, and most of them are really begging for upvotes, I hope that steemit team will be more strict with such people and block those accounts but not just to mute them, they are really ruining the community, they are diseases.
Recently I have the same bunch of people that put a comment on mostly all my posts. In the beginning, I started to interact, upvote and give them a chance to grow on this platform. At some point, I was tired of their answers not related to the topic, written in poor English and without meaning.
I discovered the button mute and increase my experience on Steemit and removed the noise.
Nice comment my dear friend .. just kidding .. mute works wonders, and so does the good ol' ignore 'em till they drop.
yes that button save us from troubles, mostly it's better to not see what they are writin there, I have maybe about 100 muted people who I don't want to hear from them, thanks for the comment. ☺
Yeah, I also hate the spammer even when spammer spamming on facebook status or global chat even spamming act like bullying in one game because this act can anoying any people. We must fight spammers not only on Steemit, but also on other platform and on internet.
I have experience when I spamming like promotion to my own project to get more xp by commenting on many other project, but not on steemit, but on Planet Minecraft site. Instead not to get a lot, I got banned 1 day by moderator.
So, don't imitate my experience, this is just for lessons for everyone which posting on Steemit, nor non-steemit sites. And the spammer are not welcome to the Internet.
I completely agree with what you are saying here and actually wrote a post about the spammers on Steemit a few days ago.
I reply to people who plagiarise content or leave spam messages on my posts all the time. And I have no issue flagging their posts as well. There's nothing worse than people clogging up Steemit with stolen material or spammy content, it makes it harder for the good content to shine through in addition to making Steemit appear like a platform with nothing but shit posts.
Yeah it's really good to flag them, because they are not letting us grow and show our best, they are ruining it to all of us, no education, no morals, no intelligence they have, I think that such people have to be blocked, no body need them or their accounts.

How to get rid of them, here on steemit flag them. On e-mail block them.
It's very good because they deserve that, let them know that they are no useful for the community and to understand that they have to change the way of posting and commenting here.
Hello Clixmoney :) hope you doing well I just saw your account today and almost read all of your article one by one. you have shared very important and useful tips. :) One question I want to ask is that One of my post got almost 11.70 Steemdollars, but each it its decreasing now after 4 to five days it has came upto almost 11.12 :( and keep decreasing. what is the problem ?
It's ok don't worry, the price of the upvote is related to the steem price, if it goes up it will increase, if it goes down it will decrease, so keep posting and don't worry about that, I also had today in the morning more than 15 dollars from this post and after less than 15 and it may go to 20 if sudenly the price go up tomorrow, keep posting and never give up, interuct with people and use my group if you want to grow faster, the most important there is to follow the rules, good luck. ☺
