Here's to day one. Day one is done every day for me. I remeber my father telling me "tomorrow is a new day" when we as children were absoluetly determined to continue doing whatever we were doing and not go to bed. Many a time have I felt heartbroken at the utter disaster (in my own eyes) of the previous waking hours, or have I felt that I'd really rather not face another 24 hours without the world first stopping for 680 hours to allow me to read 26 book that I've never read and have a cup of tea in some strange frozen world that won't carry on just yet. Nevertheless, another day comes by -- bless the rising sun -- and I'm given a new chance to shine as she does upon the world and make ammends, make new changes, rise up a little higher, discover a new beginning, and make progress on some dream, no matter how foolish it may be.
This is the day of a step on another dream of discovery, a portal to newness being opened, the first day I choose this platform to acompany me on this journey towards discovery in this one, baffling life.
