I'm 51 and disable (part 2)

in #disable7 years ago (edited)

Hi,

First and foremost i'm a french Canadian, so my English is not always kosher.

My journey continue in the ICU for 3 to 5 days , i don't remember anything at all.

Around February 6 2013 i was transfer in a standard room, i still do not remembered much of it. At this time everything is all mix up in my head regarding time, i know that i started physiotherapy quite fast because the sooner the better.

To make this story short, i was washed , i change room a couple of time and i still did therapy once a day with great result, from no able to walk to walk with aid.

And one day when they decided that i'm ok, so i was transfer into a reeducation hospital, with all sort of therapy: physio, speech, psycho etc... and this for 2 to 3 months (full time). Afterward i moved in my first place as a disable person, a bit scary... a LOT scarier than i thought. I fell down multiple times with some injury.

I went back to reeducation hospital (during the day) with the same therapy as before but after 3 months i have decided to stop everything and move on.

End of part 2. I hope that i was coherent and not to boring.

See you in part 3 in a week or so.
