What's missing in life..

Till class 12,I have never touched a smartphone.I am from a middle class family.We have a Nokia 1600 which was very popular that time.The only entertaining feature it has was a cricket game,which u can complete all the levels just in 2-3 days.So after that the phone is just used what it is meant for.

Back then the only company I had were books,I have a big almirah full of books.I was so addicted to them that even in durga puja(a festival in India celebrated pomp and grandeur) where my father asked me what i want(balloons,pistols) my simple reply was book.They were story books,novels,fiction,biography ,magazines,newspapers and all.Books were my company all the time,hours were spent just like a minute with them.I laughed ,rejoiced and even cried like a baby with them.They taught me how to live,behave,how to take every situation in a positive way, smile and believe everything has a solution.But,now looking at the almirah again I realized what is missing,the books were same,dusty and unused.They are used to me and so I am,but now we rarely meet.Social media has so abruptly taken its place in daily life that books are rarely read.From reading books to reading memes in Facebook,reading tweets on twitter,life has surely come a long way.Books can never be replaced,they are the source of knowledge,confidence,hope and above all morality.
