En mi viaje después de este gran día de visitar el centro de Tequila en Jalisco, México, qué mejor manera de disfrutar el final del día que yendo al restaurante Mezcalera. Cuando llegamos nos sirvieron un antojito de la casa (tequila y agua mineralizada) estuvo muy rico y refrescante. Este restaurante ofrece un buffet con tacos de frijol braseado, 4 tipos de carne, arrachera, chorizo al pastor, costillas BBQ y por supuesto, algo de cordero. Todo estuvo muy bueno y te sirven la carne en una cazuela de barro montada sobre carbón para mantener calientes los platos y para acompañarlos, tortillas que te preparan a mano durante tu visita a la cocina. También ofrecen otras carnes: pollo, conejo y hasta codorniz, por supuesto hay menú a la carta. Durante la comida el cantinero pasa con botellas de tequila y te vierte la botella directamente en la boca y no duda en dejarte gotear. También hay una muy buena carta de tragos con la especialidad de la casa, el Tequila. El precio era más que asequible. Sin duda es uno de los mejores de la zona. Si volvemos a la zona, repetiremos.
On my trip after this great day of visiting downtown Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, what better way to enjoy the end of the day than going to the Mezcalera restaurant. When we arrived we were served a house appetizer (tequila and mineralized water) it was very delicious and refreshing. This restaurant offers a buffet with charred bean tacos, 4 types of meat, flank steak, pastor sausage, BBQ ribs and of course, some lamb. Everything was very good and they serve the meat in a clay pot mounted on charcoal to keep the dishes warm and to accompany them, tortillas that they prepare by hand during your visit to the kitchen. They also offer other meats: chicken, rabbit and even quail, of course there is an a la carte menu. During the meal the bartender passes with bottles of tequila and pours the bottle directly into your mouth and he doesn't hesitate to let you drip. There is also a very good drink menu with the house specialty, Tequila. The price was more than affordable. It is definitely one of the best in the area. If we return to the area, we will repeat.
