Slow Cooked meal


On the menu tonight was something a little different, slow cooked beef with Chorizo sausage, paprika, and a few other things. Very easy to make, not a lot of ingredients, and we let ours cook for about five hours on low heat.

I think the "recipe"says cook for three hours then turn to low/warm. I have never been to follow a recipe strictly. I view them more as a guide or suggestions, the other half is more likely to follow the recipe. Ok, so sometimes mine don't turn out great, other times they are very good.




Not bad, but I know I can improve upon this, no I didn't make this one. I would be tempted to add in onions, kidney beans, maybe some coconut cream for something different, and see what else I had in the house as well.

Yes I did hope on the bike, a slightly longer session as lunch was more of a "normal" size (it was a bought Nasi Goreng), and I have been reducing my portions. So how many Kilojoules/Calories did I burn, 4,200 kJ/1,000 calories.
