Inner Peace
Inducing the artistic Chi!
Hi Everyone , am back again, i finally made up my mind to post today...Haha!
Funny as it may sound i feel almost all artist struggle with gaining satisfaction with their art....i usually refer to this as the artistic "Inner peace", which sometimes can be a good thing and other times a really depressing ditch to fall in. While it does propel you not to settle for less and keep moving forward and improving on your art as you go by on your artistic journey, sometimes it does take away some of the fun and enjoyment that comes with being free and okay to make mistakes and move on from there.
meet Sara...
So while working on this particular piece I tried a lot of things trying to push it really far to the point where I lost a lot of my inner peace and rather than enjoy the creative process it became really unpleasant, until I caught myself in my tracks and reminded myself that it wasn't all about having a killer piece but also sharing with others the way you see things no matter how mundane it may be.
So to put it simple....try to remember arts true purpose every time you set out on a art project or adventure. also try to relax when you are becoming tense, take a break do something else and you'll come back with fresh eyes.
And remember artists are usually their own worst critic so show your work to someone else it'll help you figure out what's working and what isn't and also some times help you realize you are not as bad as you think.
I hope this helps some one out there! signing out now Cheers!!
Also the art piece above was created in Adobe photoshop CC 2019
