it doesn't necessarily need to be a full 'meal' every two hours, it could be something smaller to stabilize blood sugar. eating smaller more frequent meals rather than a few larger ones spaced out would be a better idea if the goal is to shed fed, as having long periods of time without eating puts the body in starvation mode which stores fat and burns muscle. as a general rule eating more frequently speeds up the metabolism :)
