Colleagues, I have a new drawing for you today. It's an instrument card, a rare one called the R445 Brass Singing Bowl. This instrument is widely used for meditative purposes in some parts of the world, such as India. Its music can be used for meditation, relaxation, or even concentration during monotonous tasks. Its use depends on the culture of the country where it's found. It's like other instruments; each country uses it differently.
It works simply: the player uses a metal bar to strike one of the sides of the bowl. This sound creates a resonance inside the bowl, making it sound more resonant. To help you understand better, I'll include a video example of how it's played and used.
As you saw in the video, it's quite easy to play and very interesting. The video even demonstrates its uses for relaxation. What I find most striking is the unusual shape they chose for the bowl. Okay, so let's move on to the drawing. First, I drew the inner frame of the card.

After the frame, I painted the clay used to strike the sides of the bowl. Then I made the bowl itself. I confess it looks a lot like one I have at home, though it's not for making music. Mine is more for crushing spices, but I'm sure you understand what I mean; the shape is similar.

After that funny coincidence, I moved on to adding details to the drawing to make it look nicer. For example, I added a border around the bowl to give it more volume and texture. And I painted some lines on the clay to represent its embellishments or wood carvings.

Now it's time for the painting. I'll quickly show you the main steps of how I was drawn. I used a color palette similar to the original card. As always, this is the most fun step to watch because it's where it comes to life.

And to conclude, friends, I'll show you the final result of the drawing, and with that, friends, it's finished. See you later, blessings to all.
