“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 KJV. This verse is short and simple, but powerful. Dictionary.com says refuge is a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble. How many times do we need a place of refuge? We can go to God at anytime for anything. He is always there waiting for us to call on Him. Today I felt I just needed to feel His presence. I needed to feel secure and when I prayed I felt secure and safe. It felt good that the God of the universe cares about me. Thank you God, please touch everyone that reads this devotional today, let them know how much You love them. Blessings. Bd.
