Character Clothing

in #devlog6 years ago

The initial character clothing and hair has been modeled which is the first stage before I can set up Inventory and character systems.

A quick monster doodle:

I have set up a new low polygon tree asset which will allow for a different style of tree:

Cool video on the modelling characters' clothing :) Looking forward to seeing that monster modelled in 3D :D

Thanks but unfortunately there will probably be quite a wait before I get to decide on the modeling of the monsters. I will have to get everything else up and running and be most be close to having a working prototype first.

That's a heck of a process. How long does it take for one of these projects to be finished?
It looks complicated. I have a great deal of admiration for digital artists. The results are so amazing.

For this project I am hoping to get the basic prototype finished by the end of the year. Turning it into an actual game will take 3 to 5 years.

This is of course if I do not get any work in the meantime (I mainly work freelance) or run into financial problems.

I see. Wow, it's a hard work. Good luck with that project.

Your monster looks like it was about to do something naughty ;)

The video is called 'Basic clothing' but there is nothing basic on it in my opinion. It all looks so complicated! You are very skilled if you're able to work like this :)
