How to create a decentralized application using the blockchain Steem without having to share ALL its resources contained with the connected ecosystem

in #development7 years ago (edited)

How to create an external application or website that can growth without being swallowed by portals like Busy.org or Steemit.com who display all the contents of the blockchain?

Or if the content is to be recorded, how to enable the editing source to be rewarded in the Steem ecosystem.

The goal would be to allow a publisher to work with a community on a specific TLD (top level domain) to help him monetize its publication and attract new members who would join his community.

Some publications already have active communities. They are interested in finding new sources of income. But the idea of distributing their content on different channels that they do not control will block them.

There is another issue related to content duplication which is an SEO requirement: Google, Bing, Yahoo do not handle duplicate content really well.

If a platform such as steamit.com re-publishes a content, it's a safe bet that Google will prefer to take over the URL from Steemit than from the domain that will publish the original content. The size of the Steemit site and the other portals that display the entire blockchain will quickly have a larger weight than the ecosystem publishers. Their authority will kill small publishers in organic rankings who will lose their visibility brought previously by the search engines.

There is the technique of canonical URLs that would solve this problem. These are URLs displayed in the page code that display the source of the published content.

 <head>
...
<link rel="canonical" href="http://www.yakaferci.com/" />
...
</head>

In the documentation on the API it is mentioned a URL field

"allow\_votes":` `true,`
`"allow\_curation\_rewards":` `true,`
`**"url":**`** **`**"",**`** **`
"root\_title":` `"",`
`"pending\_payout\_value":` `"0.000 STEEM",`

But this would require that each application adhere to an ethical rule to display this URL as LINK CANONICAL.

From my understanding, The Smart Media Tokens approach focuses on peripheral participations (the valuation of comments and the possibility of a Steem fundraising for the application).

It remains (at least for me) a big question about the valuation of the content produced on third platform (website, mobile application, ...). How to pay a publisher and his writer?

The explanation may exist but I have not yet found or understood how to put it into practice.

If you have a track I am taker of your advice.

I hope that my request is clear ... if not I will try to give more details.
